At Travels in Mysore – Travels Mysuru, we aim to provide our customers with the best travel experience possible.
We understand that travel plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, modifications, and refunds for bookings made with us.
1. Cancellation by the Customer
If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing (via email, WhatsApp, or official communication).
The following cancellation charges will apply based on the time of cancellation before the scheduled travel date:
Time of Cancellation – Cancellation Charges
More than 7 days before the travel date – 10% of total booking amount
Between 3 – 7 days before the travel date – 25% of total booking amount
Less than 3 days before the travel date – 50% of total booking amount
Within 24 hours or No Show – 100% (No Refund)
Note: The above timelines may vary depending on specific tour packages, partner hotels, or third-party travel services involved.
2. Cancellation by Travels in Mysore – Travels Mysuru
In rare cases, we may have to cancel or reschedule a trip due to unavoidable circumstances such as:
• Natural disasters, strikes, or roadblocks
• Vehicle breakdowns or driver unavailability
• Government restrictions or safety issues
In such cases, customers will be offered either:
• A full refund, or
• A rescheduled date/travel credit of equivalent value (based on mutual agreement)
We will not be liable for compensation beyond the total amount paid for the booking.
3. Refund Policy
• All eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after receiving a valid cancellation request.
• Refunds will be issued through the original mode of payment (bank transfer, UPI, or card).
• Service charges, payment gateway fees, and taxes (if any) are non-refundable.
• For bookings made through travel partners or agents, refunds will be processed as per the agent’s policy.
4. Modifications or Rescheduling
Customers who wish to modify or reschedule their booking should contact us at least 48 hours before the travel date.
Approval of such requests will depend on vehicle and date availability.
Any fare differences or additional charges must be borne by the customer.
5. Non-Refundable Services
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
• Entry tickets, permits, or passes purchased for attractions
• Hotel bookings made under non-refundable rates
• Services already utilized or partially completed
6. Force Majeure
Travels in Mysore – Travels Mysuru shall not be held responsible for cancellations or delays due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:
• Natural calamities
• Political unrest or strikes
• Accidents or road closures
• Epidemics, pandemics, or government-imposed travel bans
In such cases, refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
